On line 48, the value for the givens field is "Allen Edit", the suggested correction is "Ellen Edith". Submitted anonymously. The following comment was attached: Although in the census it looks like Allen, for other researchers of this family the correct name is Ellen Edith.
This correction was evaluated by James Gibson: I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original. This comment was added: Although Ellen Edith is likely the actual name, the enumerator likely misspelled it on the original census. The "A" compares with Albert above, and there is no "h" at the end of Edith.
