Field Correction Notes on this page
Field correction notes are suggested changes offered by a
proofreader or user, they should not be considered authoritative. If
the transcriber agrees with the suggestion they will change the line.
Notes for changes that have been made are removed periodically. The
presence of an uncorrected note is an extra prompt to the user to
consult the image. It is always good practice to confirm the accuracy
of the transcription by consulting the image.

On line 37,
the value for the year
field is "1900",
the suggested correction is "1899". Submitted by Shelley.
The following comment was attached: I would have to disagree on the age supporting 1900; if that was so, then the age should be 6/12
|
This correction was evaluated by Krystal Tait:
I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original.
This comment was added: see line 26, this page, year of birth Nov 1900, age 1 - enumerator did not always use 6/12, so my previous comment stands - age supports 1900

On line 37,
the value for the year
field is "1900",
the suggested correction is "1899". Submitted by Shelley.
The following comment was attached: it looks like 1900 was changed to 1899-look at the long strokes of the last two 9's
|
This correction was evaluated by Krystal Tait:
I have checked the image of the original form and the correct value is debatable but I think the transcribed value is more likely to be correct.
This comment was added: could be either, age would support 1900
