Surname Notes On This Page

In household 49, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Tooli', a suggested alternative surname is 'Toole'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'Ira was the son of David and Eliza Toole who appear in the census in Emily Township. The spelling ending in "e" is the one used on Ira's gravestone in Emily Cemetery.'.
