WILSON, GORDON - 1916 ~ 2011 - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Roy Wilson a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Born in Berry Mills, NB, on May 29th, 1916, he was the son of the late Albert Wilson and Carrie (Slady) Wilson. In the past he enjoyed spending his summers at the cottage in Edgewater with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Margaret Jannet (Skinner) Wilson, a son William Walter (Bill) Wilson and his wife Ravenna of Mont Tremblant, Quebec, a daughter Kathryn Louise (Kathy) of Moncton, one granddaughter Shannon Leigh O?Brien of Moncton, his special furry friend Guinness and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Arlene Gustafson of Ottawa, ON. Gordon worked as a foreman mechanic for over forty years at Grey Bus Line, was on the Codiac Transit committee as well as being involved in other Irving interests.

Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, evening May 26th, from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, May 27th, at 2: 00 in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the SPCA would be appreciated. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. He will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him and whose hearts he touched.
