WOLSTENHOLME, HAZEL ANN - 1907 - 2014 - It is with loving hearts that the family of Hazel Wolstenholme announces her passing on February 24, 2014 at the Jordan Life Care Centre in her 107th year. Her keen wit and smile persisted into her final hours. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Daniel J. and Catherine (MacDonald) Terrio. Hazel was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered as a gracious hostess who was always stately, forever a lady and a woman who modeled formidable physical, mental and spiritual strength. She was devoted to her faith and a member of the Catholic Women?s League for more than 75 years. She is survived by her three daughters, Dawn Currie (Sheldon), Sandra Coyle and Mary Lou Foreman (Phillip), 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Betty Wedge, several nieces and nephews including special niece Anne Marie Donovan. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Hazel was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, John, son Jack and daughter Catherine Ann (in infancy), brother, Jack and sisters, Mame, Gerry, Florence, Willa, Jean, and Margaret.

Visitation will take place at Cobb?s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, February 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, with parish prayers taking place from the funeral home at 8:30pm. The funeral mass celebrating Hazel?s life will take place on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 AM from Holy Family Catholic Church, Moncton, with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. The interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Hazel?s memory may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital or the building fund of the Jordan Life Care Centre.
